Group classes are a great way to experience the joys of yoga and make friends along the way. Adult group classes (13 and up) are available for all levels of practitioners and in all types of formats from slow and steady to fast and sweaty to meditative, contemplative or strong. All ages and kids are served in Kids Yoga (8 and up), Girls Yoga Club (11 and up) and Family Yoga (all ages). Group classes are available using class passes or drop-in and our multi-class passes allow you to sample different formats as you like for an affordable price. A natural progression for a student who is new to yoga, is to start with a private lesson, attend Beginner Yoga classes, and progress to Vinyasa and Ashtanga. Private lessons are recommended along the way to keep your practice moving forward. This time is used to answer your questions, fine tune your alignment, address posture modifications that are needed to keep you safe and assist in your education beyond asana. Your yogic practice may begin with asana, but, as you feel better, it will quickly expand to include breath work, meditation and a broader reflection on self and life goals.
